New Dark Times
After two hit albums, worldwide touring and numerous videos and TV performances, Sunscreem decided to return to their musical and physical roots. In their studio in a fourteenth century milking shed they recorded a series of tracks which they released under various guises including Anna Din, Anna Nas and Chiba. Anna Din’s “Angel” achieved club cult status after it appeared on Sasha & Digweed’s Renaissance album. They also did new remixes of their own tracks and for other people, most notably Jean-Michel Jarre.
It was the early days of the internet and a fan had built Sunscreem a web site, so the band decided to gather all these tracks together and release them via the site as the limited edition CD ‘New Dark Times’.
